Villablino, Spain the last step of the IIDA calendar, and one of the experiment of this year, come an big success.

News riders and new country (Latvia and Poland) start downhill in Villablino.

Also Marco Walz the Nanjing’s world champion in Alpin slalom, take part at this competition and take the 4° place, a very big new entry for downhill “movida”.
Just 2 riders in this race are the IIDA member: Massimo Bavieri and Mira Boersig, all the other are riders from the Alpine inline slalom and WSX.

The Italians at this competition are the strongest riders. First place in mans and ladies with Matteo Palazzi and Alice Delfino.
Interesting victory in junior class: Krists from Latvia (4000km by car for take part at this event in Villablino), wins and all the Latvian team are in party for this big surprise!
In the female junior class all Spanish skaters take part…

THE AMAZING ORGANIZATION:
Incredible professional level in this event, like the ’90 years.
Live streaming with a professional crew and cameras, and TV live show in the regional TV.
The public like a supporter in the football match… incredible!

The Track:
The main avenue in Villablino are a real downhill, and more the start are on top of the village, and is very faster.
straight hard start 3 curves right, left, right and the final long straight with ramp or alternative gichanes.
Perfect asphalt.

The successful event, will be come a new downhill traditional event like Teolo. In Villablino is in mountain at 1000mt and we have talk to the municipality to organize a long downhill in about 2km out of the village.
But the next time we hope in a better participation from the IIDA members, cause the downhill movement can’t loose this event.
